Jonathan Majors is turning to his faith following a recent guilty verdict in an assault case where he was accused of harassing and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The 34-year-old actor, awaiting sentencing on February 6, 2024, expressed reliance on God when asked about how he’s maintaining a positive outlook. Despite the legal turmoil, he stated, “God is good. God is great. Prayer. Faith.”

When questioned about his future plans in acting, Majors declined to answer, simply stating, “I think that’s enough for now.” This follows his removal from the Marvel Cinematic Universe by Disney after the guilty verdict in December. Majors, who portrayed Kang the Conqueror, was part of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ and the Disney+ series ‘Loki.’

Maintaining his innocence, Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, emphasized the jury’s disbelief in Jabbari’s account of the incident. Despite being found guilty of one count of intentional assault in the third degree and one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, Chaudhry expressed gratitude that the jury didn’t believe Jabbari’s story regarding intentional injuries.

Majors, arrested on March 25 on assault and harassment charges, faces potential jail time of up to a year. The case, which involved accusations of Majors assaulting Jabbari in a car after she took his phone, could impact his Hollywood career significantly.

During the trial, the prosecution presented texts and an audio recording as evidence. The messages included Majors allegedly attempting to dissuade Jabbari from seeking medical attention for a head injury. The audio recording featured Majors urging Jabbari to act like notable figures such as Corretta Scott King and Michelle Obama, portraying himself as a significant figure contributing to culture and the world.

With the sentencing looming, Majors’ Hollywood future is uncertain, as he potentially faces consequences that could affect his career, including his role in the anticipated ‘Avengers 5,’ previously named ‘The Avengers: Kang Dynasty.’
