It was during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic that Duée encountered this community, whose abbey was conveniently located near his home in Narbonne. As he embarks on this new chapter of his life, Duée will begin as a “postulant,” residing among the canons as he acquaints himself with their way of life and the teachings of the Rule of St. Augustine. After this initial period, he may progress to the novitiate, where he will undergo further discernment and spiritual formation. If deemed suitable, he will have the opportunity to take on the habit of the community, symbolizing his commitment to their values. Ultimately, after a rigorous process lasting five years, Duée may make his vows to become a canon of Lagrasse.
