The power of prayer is immense.

Phil Robertson, the beloved Christian reality TV star from “Duck Dynasty,” has been dealing with Alzheimer’s disease, and his sons, Al and Jase Robertson, are crediting his recent improvement to the power of prayer. The brothers shared an update on his condition during an interview on the “Relatable” podcast, noting that after making his illness public, they saw a positive shift in his spirit. Jase emphasized how deeply he believes in prayer, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of prayers from the public. He recalled how he initially thought his father had only a few days to live, but his condition improved significantly after they shared the news.

Jase mentioned that during a recent visit with his son, they both observed that Phil was doing better than they expected. While Phil’s health fluctuates day-to-day, Jase emphasized that his father now has a sense of peace, which he attributes to answered prayers. This sense of peace, regardless of his physical condition, has been a source of comfort for the family.

Al Robertson described his father’s condition as unpredictable, with some days being better than others in terms of both mental and physical health. The brothers first revealed Phil’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis on their “Unashamed with the Robertson Family” podcast in December, where Phil had been a co-host. Along with Alzheimer’s, Phil has also been battling a blood disease that has caused multiple fractures in his back and tailbone.

The Robertson family gained fame through their show “Duck Dynasty,” which aired on A&E and showcased their duck-hunting business and strong Christian values. Although the show ended in 2017, a revival titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” is set to air later this year, focusing on Phil’s son Willie, his wife Korie, and their family, as they continue life on the Robertson homestead in Louisiana.
