Doctors In Awe After Man Claims To Hear God
For the first 16 years of his life, Christopher Gunderson lived with chronic pseudo-obstruction syndrome, a condition that left his stomach unable to process food, making it impossible for him to eat normally. Diagnosed with complete gastroparesis, Gunderson would vomit whenever he tried to eat, forcing doctors to insert feeding tubes into his body. One tube drained his stomach, while another provided nutrition directly to his small intestine. His condition was severe, and doctors feared for his long-term survival.
Gunderson, who grew up in a Christian home, was initially skeptical about the possibility of miracles. However, in 2011, his mother brought him to an event led by Bruce Van Natta, a ministry leader who had experienced a miraculous recovery after being crushed by a truck. During the event, Gunderson felt a pulsating sensation in his abdomen, which he had never experienced before. He believed God was preparing him for something significant and made a vow that if he were healed, he would share his story with others.
The next day, Van Natta prayed for Gunderson, and during the prayer, Gunderson felt a powerful electric shock go through his body, which he described as God “jumpstarting” his stomach. That night, he ate a full meal for the first time in his life without any pain, and over the following weeks, he gradually weaned off his feeding tubes. Eventually, the tubes were removed altogether, and doctors, initially shocked and skeptical, could not explain his recovery.
Gunderson is convinced that his healing was a divine miracle, and the experience profoundly changed his view of God. He now believes in a close, personal relationship with God and remains committed to sharing his testimony with others.
