After her rescue, Annabelle told her mother, Christy Beam, that while trapped in the tree, she had visited Heaven. She said she met Jesus and was miraculously healed. According to Annabelle, she sat on Jesus’ lap, told Him she wanted to stay with Him, but Jesus explained that she had a purpose on Earth that she could not fulfill in Heaven. Annabelle also mentioned that Jesus promised her that once she was rescued, she would be completely healed.
This claim was especially significant given the context of Annabelle’s health condition. Before the fall, Annabelle had been suffering from a debilitating digestive disorder, and paramedics had warned her family about the high likelihood of serious injuries, including paralysis or broken bones, given the height of the fall. Despite this, Annabelle emerged from the incident physically unharmed.
Incredibly, not only was Annabelle free of injuries from the fall, but her digestive condition, which had plagued her for years, was completely gone. Since the incident, Annabelle’s digestive issues have never returned, further solidifying the belief among her family and others that her experience was miraculous.
