Grammy-Winning Christian Band Announces Reunion Tour

Christian rock band Third Day is reuniting for a 30th anniversary tour in spring 2026, bringing all four original members—Mac Powell, Mark Lee, David Carr, and Tai Anderson—back together for the first time in over a decade. The tour will include 30 stops and conclude in their hometown area near Atlanta. This marks the band’s first full tour since their 2018 farewell, which was met with overwhelming support.

The tour will kick off in Jacksonville, Florida, and visit major venues including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. A final show is scheduled at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, on May 10, 2026. Grammy-winning artist Zach Williams will join as a special guest, adding further appeal to what organizers describe as a multi-generational celebration of faith and music.

Third Day, formed in Atlanta in the early 1990s, became a major influence in Christian rock, releasing 14 studio albums and winning multiple awards, including four Grammys and 24 Dove Awards. The band is known for popular songs such as “Cry Out to Jesus” and “Show Me Your Glory,” and has sold over 10 million records.

In addition to their musical success, the band has made national media appearances and earned honors like induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Founding member Mac Powell has continued to speak about the importance of Gospel-centered music, encouraging upcoming artists to remain faithful to biblical truth in their creative work.

Powell believes that Christian musicians can both reach new audiences and strengthen those already within the Church. He has responded to past criticism by emphasizing that even the faithful need reminders of the Gospel, and that artists have a dual role—to share truth beyond the Church’s walls while also nurturing believers through meaningful music.
