He’s issuing a warning.
Political commentator Tucker Carlson recently criticized the FBI, alleging it has become an “anti-Christian secret police force” and condemned House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., for not addressing these concerns despite his Christian claims. In an interview with Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese, Carlson expressed his belief that federal law enforcement has become overly politicized, a view he shares with Coglianese. They both see this development as troubling. Carlson pointed out that the FBI seems focused on investigating “Christian nationalism” and prosecuting individuals from the January 6 incident, while showing little interest in addressing violence by Antifa, including an attack on Carlson’s wife at their home in Washington, D.C., in 2018.
Carlson recounted how the Antifa-affiliated group “Smash Racism D.C.” attacked his residence on November 7, 2018, when his wife was alone. He described it as a direct threat rather than a mere protest, saying they targeted him and his family and urged them to leave their neighborhood. He criticized the lack of immediate police response and mentioned that officers only contacted him months later, advising him to arm himself.
Carlson went on to accuse FBI Director Chris Wray of criminal behavior for allegedly failing to investigate the attack thoroughly. Coglianese highlighted that the FBI has similarly neglected to resolve numerous attacks on crisis pregnancy centers following the 2022 Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade. Attorney General Merrick Garland had previously stated that many such attacks go unprosecuted because they are committed by masked individuals at night.
Carlson also lambasted Speaker Johnson for continuing to fund the FBI despite its perceived failures, accusing him of hypocrisy given his Christian values. He claimed that Johnson supports the FBI’s budget and construction of a new headquarters while failing to address its alleged bias.
Additionally, Carlson and Coglianese discussed how the news cycle quickly moved past an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, suggesting that the U.S. Secret Service under Biden either failed in its duties or allowed the attempt to happen. They speculated that divine intervention played a role in saving Trump, citing a series of coincidences that prevented the attack from being successful.
Carlson expressed concern over the implications of a politicized Secret Service and other institutions, emphasizing that such corruption could be catastrophic. Coglianese also mentioned the destruction of cocaine found at the White House and suggested that the Left is trying to influence the Supreme Court to better serve their interests.
