It’s a surprising move for him.

Joe Rogan, one of the most widely recognized podcasters in the U.S., has reportedly started regularly attending church, according to Christian apologist Wesley Huff. Huff, who appeared on Rogan’s show earlier this year for an extended discussion about Christianity and Scripture, shared the update during a recent podcast interview. He described Rogan as someone deeply curious about faith, who has been engaging in ongoing conversations with believers about the reliability and truth of the Bible.

Huff said he finds encouragement in Rogan’s increasing openness to spiritual matters, adding that this mirrors a broader cultural shift. He pointed to anecdotal reports, including a Christian bookstore seeing more teenagers asking for Bibles, as signs of growing spiritual interest among young people. Huff suggested that this renewed engagement with Christianity, especially among youth, may be part of a larger movement.

Rogan has recently expressed doubts about the Big Bang theory and has said he finds the idea of Jesus’ resurrection more plausible than the concept of the universe coming from nothing. In a conversation with podcast host Cody Tucker, he questioned how something could come from nothing and argued that belief in the Big Bang also requires faith in a miraculous event — a perspective he illustrated by quoting Terence McKenna’s remark about science asking for “one free miracle.”

Over the past year, Rogan has repeatedly returned to discussions about Jesus and Christian belief. In a past conversation with musician Kid Rock, he described Jesus in positive terms and said he’d welcome the opportunity to meet Him. In another episode with Riley Gaines, topics like spiritual warfare, biblical prophecy, and the moral state of society were explored. Gaines shared her faith openly, saying her Christian beliefs help her remain grounded and compassionate even amid hostility.
