She is defending the mockery of Christianity.

First Lady Jill Biden commended the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, despite the event including performances with provocative themes that took direct aim at Christianity while highlighting LGBT issues and honoring pagan deities.

At a brunch hosted by U.S. Ambassador to France Denise Bauer, Biden celebrated both the commencement of the Paris Games and the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Alongside Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, she described the opening night’s festivities as “spectacular” and expressed enthusiasm about how the event had unfolded, despite the weather. Biden’s remarks focused primarily on her anticipation for the 2028 Games, with no mention of the controversial elements from the Paris ceremonies.

Among the performances that drew criticism was a reinterpretation of the Last Supper, which depicted a lesbian DJ in the role of Jesus surrounded by men in drag, diverging significantly from the traditional portrayal of this pivotal Christian event. This performance was criticized for its provocative twist on Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, which represents the moment Jesus instituted the Eucharist and shared his final meal with his disciples before his crucifixion.

Further controversy was sparked by the inclusion of a golden calf prop, referencing the biblical story from Exodus 32 where the Israelites, in defiance of God’s commandments, created an idol while waiting for Moses. This symbol, often associated with idolatry and rebellion, was perceived as an affront to religious sensibilities.

The ceremony also featured French artist Philippe Katerine, who appeared in blue body paint and minimal attire, resembling the pagan god Dionysus, known for associations with excess and revelry. Additionally, a pre-recorded dance sequence showed a suggestive scenario involving two men and a woman, culminating in a closed-door scene implying group sexual activity.

The theme of sexual progressivism was further reflected in the pre-Games events, where drag queens were featured as torchbearers.
