Hispanic Churches Empowered With New Financial Support System
At the National Religious Broadcasters conference, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) announced a partnership with America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), which will provide financial services to thousands of Hispanic churches and pastors in the U.S. This collaboration aims to address the growing need for financial tools and support in the Hispanic Christian community, with a shared commitment to promoting Christian values.
A key component of the partnership is financial education, which many churches and pastors have lacked due to insufficient training in resource management. The partnership will offer workshops, advice, and practical tools to help pastors manage their churches’ finances effectively. In addition to this, the initiative will teach biblical principles of stewardship and resource management, helping churches align their financial practices with Christian teachings.
ACCU will also provide financing options to NHCLC-affiliated churches and ministries. This includes loans for purchasing or improving church buildings, expanding ministries, and offering retirement plans for pastors. These financial services are designed to support the growth of Hispanic churches and help them continue making a positive impact on their communities.
Furthermore, NHCLC has expressed plans to extend these services to Latin American churches in the future, acknowledging the significant need for financial education and support in the region. By expanding their reach, they hope to empower more churches with the necessary resources and financial stability.
Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of NHCLC, emphasized that the alliance with ACCU is just the beginning. The long-term goal is to see strengthened pastors, thriving churches, and transformed communities, all through the application of sound financial principles rooted in Christian values.
