The video went viral.

A Christian social media influencer recently gained widespread attention with a video featuring his encounter with a satanist and his subsequent prayer for the individual.

Bryce Crawford, an evangelist with approximately 686,000 Instagram followers, shared the video, which has now accumulated over 138,000 views as of August 5. In the footage, Crawford engages in a conversation with a man who identifies as a satanist, and he offers to pray for him.

The video, uploaded last week, includes a segment where the satanist expresses that he would have preferred to burn Jesus instead of crucifying Him, describing Jesus as a “witch.” Crawford then asks the man whether his life has improved since he began worshiping Satan. The man, appearing somewhat somber, responds affirmatively.

Crawford explains that while worshiping Satan might bring temporary satisfaction, following Jesus offers a more profound hope. He tells the satanist, “I believe that Satan might give you what you want in this life, but sometimes what we want isn’t what we need. When I pray to Jesus, He protects me from things that could harm me or lead me away from Him.”

Crawford adds that although worshiping Satan might bring apparent improvements in the present life, his own struggles with mental health and lack of hope were transformed when he turned to Jesus, who provided him with hope and healing.

Crawford then asks the satanist if he can pray for him on the street, to which the man agrees.

In another video on Instagram, Crawford recounts a personal story of being on the brink of suicide before he committed his life to Jesus. He describes how this decision led him to full-time ministry, and he now sees himself as a missionary involved in speaking engagements, particularly in the Los Angeles area.

Affiliated with EquipNet, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting Christian leaders and projects with resources to spread the love of Jesus, Crawford also runs the Jesus In The Street website. This platform reflects his passion for sharing Christian identity and features T-shirts designed as “walking conversation starters for the Gospel.”

Additionally, Crawford is involved with a house church that meets on Sunday evenings and helped establish a Wednesday night gathering to foster deeper relationships with Christ. His podcast explores various Christian topics, further supporting his ministry efforts.
