This sent shockwaves through the community.

In Nevada, a devastating incident has rocked the community, resulting in the arrest of a 36-year-old woman accused of the murder of a local pastor after a dispute. The confrontation, which occurred in the Courts at Aliante neighborhood in North Las Vegas, led to a tragic outcome, leaving not just one, but two individuals injured.

According to reports by KLAS, North Las Vegas police swiftly responded to gunfire reports on a Friday afternoon, unveiling a distressing scene that shook the tranquility of the neighborhood. Jennifer Clark, a resident, described the situation as a minor disagreement that escalated drastically.

Regrettably, Pastor Nick Davi, a highly regarded figure in the community and an essential part of Grace Point Church, succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital. His wife, Sarah, known for her involvement in local initiatives and board meetings, now faces the heart-wrenching loss of her husband. The couple, married since 2005, leaves behind two children, Olivia and Christian.

The alleged perpetrator, identified as Joe Junio, was apprehended and faces severe charges including murder, attempted murder, two counts of child abuse/neglect, and discharging a firearm recklessly in a populated area. Junio, residing in the same condominium complex as the Davi family, is currently in custody at the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center.

The motive behind the disagreement leading to the shooting remains undisclosed, casting a shadow over the usually peaceful neighborhood and sparking concerns about safety and security. This tragic incident not only shattered the Davi family but also raised apprehensions among residents about the recent surge in violent episodes, leaving the community reeling from shock.

Pastor Davi had been an integral part of Grace Point Church, dedicating himself to its operations since 2006 and serving as the pastor of operations from 2014 onwards. Prior to his involvement with the church, Davi had a 15-year career in public aquariums across Florida, Mississippi, and Nevada. A native of eastern Long Island, he pursued his education at Riverhead High School and earned a B.S. in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Tampa.

In response to this tragedy, Grace Point Church has sought solace within its congregation, requesting prayers and support for the Davi family during this difficult period. A memorial service for Pastor Davi was scheduled to honor his memory at the church on Sunday morning.
