Student’s Mother Honors Jesus For Carrying Family Through Darkest Times
Allyson Phillips, the mother of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia tragically murdered while jogging on campus, shared her profound reliance on faith in Jesus Christ amid the anguish of losing her daughter to what she described as a preventable tragedy.
In a recent Facebook post, Phillips expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support her family has received since Riley’s untimely death. She reflected on the devastating loss, emphasizing the unimaginable pain her family has endured.
Acknowledging the profound role of her faith, Phillips credited Jesus Christ for providing strength and comfort during this harrowing ordeal. She urged others to cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus, attributing the family’s resilience to their unwavering faith.
Despite the heartache caused by Riley’s senseless and preventable death, Phillips highlighted the overwhelming love, support, and assistance they have received from their community, offering a glimmer of hope amid the darkness.
Phillips also shared a poignant image of her daughter’s name enclosed in a heart, accompanied by the hashtag “#SayHerName,” on her Facebook page, honoring Riley’s memory and legacy.
The individual arrested in connection with Riley’s murder, Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan national who entered the country illegally, has drawn attention to broader issues surrounding immigration policies. His illegal entry and subsequent release have reignited debates over border security and enforcement measures.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp criticized the Biden administration’s handling of border policies in response to Riley’s murder, demanding accountability for the failure to inform state authorities about the suspect’s immigration status. He emphasized the need for comprehensive federal action to address ongoing border security challenges and prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
Additionally, revelations about Diego Ibarra, the suspect’s brother, further underscored concerns regarding fraudulent documentation and immigration-related offenses. Diego Ibarra’s termination from a job at the University of Georgia and subsequent arrest for green card fraud highlighted potential vulnerabilities and lapses in oversight within immigration processes.
As the community mourns the loss of Laken Riley and grapples with the broader implications of her tragic death, her mother’s unwavering faith serves as a source of inspiration and resilience amid profound sorrow and uncertainty.
I can’t believe they let the murderer go. If he was American, we would have been arrested and in jail or prison right now. Why was he released? It is beyond belief that this has happened. I do know that Jesus said that in the End Times, “evil will be called good and good will be called evil”. Our people “in high places” are evil incarnate. That is the only reason I believe this tragedy happened. We have evil people in our midst. Pray that the Lord God destroys them all.
Praise The Lord, we truly have evil at the highest levels of our Government!
Gloria, God will destroy them all as he has told in Revelation. The end time is here and it will be devastating for them. They will have no idea when the rapture comes.
