It was an epic concert twist.

During a concert on August 23 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Brad Arnold, the lead singer of 3 Doors Down, took a moment to speak about his Christian faith. The band was performing alongside Creed, and Arnold wore a T-shirt with the word “YESHUA.” Before singing “Away from the Sun,” Arnold addressed the audience, sharing a message of self-worth and divine love. He criticized the negative societal messages about inadequacy and reassured the crowd of their value and the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

Arnold encouraged the audience by saying that despite any personal struggles or failures, they are loved by Jesus and capable of overcoming challenges. He led the crowd in a chant affirming their worth and Jesus’ love for them, emphasizing that everyone is made in the image of God and has a purpose.

Although 3 Doors Down is not known for being a Christian band, Arnold frequently shares his faith through social media. On the National Day of Prayer, he urged his followers to pray for the country and its leaders, focusing on spiritual change rather than political solutions.

Arnold has also openly discussed how his faith has been crucial in his recovery from alcoholism. He has credited his sobriety to his belief in God and has shared his journey of overcoming addiction through faith. Arnold has spoken about how God’s grace has helped him maintain his sobriety and avoid the pitfalls he witnessed in others’ lives.
