He’s forming a task force.
Former President Donald Trump addressed a crowd at the National Religious Broadcasters 2024 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, expressing concerns about what he sees as a rising anti-Christian sentiment within the U.S. government under the Biden administration. He warned of internal threats surpassing those from foreign adversaries and emphasized the importance of addressing this issue. Trump, describing himself as a devout Christian, spoke about the challenges faced by individuals who prioritize faith over state authority, citing legal actions against him as examples of broader ideological attacks.
Highlighting the need for political engagement among Christians, Trump criticized what he perceives as a shift towards leftist ideologies within the political establishment, labeling it as communist, Marxist, and fascist. He questioned the rationale behind Christian support for the Democratic Party, given his criticisms of the Biden administration’s policies and actions, particularly regarding law enforcement and immigration.
Trump voiced concerns about the influence of advisors surrounding President Biden, whom he characterized as “evil” and responsible for what he views as unjust actions, such as the persecution of pro-life activists. He expressed alarm over what he sees as a trend towards silencing or co-opting churches by the radical left, drawing parallels to historical totalitarian regimes.
In response to these perceived threats, Trump pledged to defend religious liberties vigorously if re-elected, including establishing a federal task force to address anti-Christian bias and reviewing cases of alleged political persecution. He vowed to support cultural battles concerning issues such as child protection and gender ideology, emphasizing the importance of preserving Christianity’s role in American society.
Trump’s speech underscored his commitment to protecting Christian values and freedoms, positioning himself as a defender against what he portrays as encroachments on religious rights and traditional beliefs.
I pray that Donald Trump is truthful in saying is a devout Christian. He has not always lived the way a Christian should, but who has? I think he needs to talk to his daughter & son in-law who are followers of the Jewish Religion about his faith and the need for them to believe in Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible (The Old Testament). “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
AMEN and AMEN 😇
