Former President Calls For Bold Religious Revival In America
In a recent interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, former President Donald Trump discussed his views on mortality and the role of religion in facing life’s end. During the conversation, which covered various topics including the 2024 presidential election, the Kennedy assassination, and UFOs, Trump reflected on death and how faith can provide comfort in confronting it.
Fridman asked Trump about his thoughts on death and whether he feared it. In response, Trump shared a story about a friend in his mid-80s who constantly thinks about the passage of time and mortality. Trump noted that his friend’s preoccupation with death served as a reminder of how quickly time slips away, although Trump himself did not express the same level of concern.
Trump then emphasized how religion offers solace when grappling with death. He expressed his belief that faith, particularly the hope of going to Heaven, helps people come to terms with mortality. He also lamented the decline of religious influence in the U.S., stating that the country was better off when religion played a stronger role in guiding people’s actions and morality.
As a self-professed Christian, Trump has positioned himself as an advocate for religious liberty, particularly in opposition to policies he perceives as hostile to people of faith. He has spoken at various events, urging Christians to vote for him in upcoming elections, stressing the importance of religious values in shaping the future of the country.
There are very significant moments in the in the Torah, ( the 5 Books of Moses and the Holy Bible. As a Messianic Jew, I believe in God, and our Lord and Savor the Son of God Jesus Christ himself. I will never deny him. He is always right never wrong and I do not dare him nor question his authority only just follow his law, his wishes and his commandments Growing up in Brooklyn, New York at the age of 13 when a Jewish person gets Bar mitzva for a boy he then becomes a man. I nor my other two brothers never did either. When I was 6 or 7 years of age in a foster home to this day I will never forget this, so help me God. I remember very well to this day and even the rest of my life here on earth, I saw a Statue of Jesus Christ crucified on a cross in bronze. I put my hands on the that grid iron fence, and I cried immensely shaking while adults walking bypasses me. I must have cried for a couple of days. I was going through Hebrew school on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. I Blamed the Romans and the San Hendron for allowing this crime to happen, If I was born back then I would sacrifice to be crucified instead of Jesus offering my own life. Sometimes, when I am alone or outside doing yardwork, cleaning up house and not my wife seeing me at all, I do ask God why me. I have two sayings written and to remind me for the struggles of life that keeps me sane, one is the Lord’s serenity prayer, and the other one is Invictus. I do cry a lot, and I do not know the reason why at times. Maybe it is this crazy world that we live in. I am not going to open my pandoras box. It’s not that I am afraid, it’s just I need my pain. If I lose this, I lose myself. It’s the thing we and who we are, I just need my pain. So, this part of my life. I am 67 years of age and hoping that the almighty will have mercy on me, I beg for his forgiveness and his wisdom to guide me and give me the strength to make it each day. This is all I can do. I am just a poor humble person with no riches and no greedy desires. I figure that my reward will be with God someday.
