Talk Show Hosts Sound Alarm On Churches In Crisis
Steve Deace, a prominent conservative talk show host, recently raised concerns about what he perceives as the feminization of the Church, the emergence of what he terms “Karen Jezebels,” and the prevalence of “weak men.” Speaking on Abby Johnson’s “Politely Rude” podcast, Deace emphasized the pivotal role men play in societal dynamics and lamented what he sees as a decline in male responsibility and leadership.
He pointed out a concerning trend where young men are increasingly living with their parents rather than starting families of their own, attributing this shift to a failure in male leadership. Deace stressed the concept of headship in creation, highlighting men’s primary responsibility for the well-being of their families, as outlined in biblical texts like Genesis 3.
Drawing parallels between contemporary challenges and biblical narratives, Deace referenced King Ahab’s passive leadership and his wife Jezebel’s dominant role, likening her to a modern-day “Karen.” He underscored the negative repercussions of men shirking their responsibilities, suggesting that such passivity leads to societal decline.
Deace and Johnson discussed the impact of feminism on men’s roles within the Church, expressing concern that male leadership is being marginalized and replaced by female pastors. They argued that this trend has resulted in men being taught feminine qualities instead of essential masculine attributes.
Addressing differences in ministry approaches between men and women, Deace emphasized the need for male church leaders to provide guidance tailored to men’s distinct needs and characteristics. He highlighted the importance of men’s ministries within churches and criticized the acceptance of passivity and feminization in many religious communities.
According to Deace, men and women have unique ways of processing emotions and approaching challenges, with men typically prioritizing results and practical solutions. He cautioned against relegating men to passive or ineffective roles within the Church, stressing the importance of strong male leadership grounded in biblical principles.
In Deace’s view, the prevalence of passive or complacent men within the Church allows dominant female figures to exert unchecked influence, leading to a decline in effective leadership and decision-making. He called for a reevaluation of gender dynamics within religious institutions to ensure that men are equipped to fulfill their God-given roles as leaders and stewards of their families and communities.
I agree completely. Even though I am a woman, I appreciate the role God placed men in. I do not believe women have the right to usurp the role of men, especially in the church.
Exodus is the one most people remember for the Ten Commandments, but they are also in Deuteronomy.
If the men are weak, it is not always because women are becoming stronger within the church.
WHEN THE CHURCH START TEACHING THAT CHRIST IS THE SALVATION OF THIS WORLD , THE CHRUCH WILL GROW AND BE STRONGER. BUT WHEN THE CHURCH PREACH THE MORAL ISSUES AND LIVING CHRIST OUT IN THEIR MESSAGE. . THEN THIS IS WORLD IS IN TROUBLE. AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENING TO DAY IN OUR COUNTRY. WHAT DOES IT PROFIT A MAN IF HE GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOST IS OWL SOUL?
The 10 Commandments are found in Exodus AND Deuteronomy.
