The 42-year-old pastor from Fresh Life Church emphasized four crucial focal points to counter Satan’s attempts.

Highlighting the devil’s desire to dismantle lives through pain, Lusko urged attendees to redirect their focus toward the wonders of Heaven, the weightiness of glory, the enduring truths within God’s word, and the profound wounds and triumphs of Jesus Christ. These, he stressed, serve as anchors during challenging times, strengthening individuals amidst adversity.

For Lusko, grappling with pain is profoundly personal, rooted in the tragic loss of his 5-year-old daughter, Lenya, to an asthma attack in December 2012. Despite the heart-wrenching experience, he found glimpses of glory and an incomprehensible peace that anchored his soul.

Drawing from Romans 8, Lusko connected enduring suffering with the revelation of God’s glory, emphasizing the Christian’s inheritance in Christ, a contrast between temporal losses and the eternal promises documented in Scripture.
